The ‘War on Terror’ continues! And the arsenal against terrorism is, you guessed it, spying on your neighbors! Is it a surprise that a war against an enemy so vague that anyone could be classified as the enemy, never ends? For people of France, the changing of your eating habits could even make you a suspect according to this info-graphic created by the French Government, in wake of the recent Charlie Hebdo shootings.
As you can see, the graphic gives possible signs of “Jihadist Radicalization”, included changing of eating habits (I guess everyone on a diet is suspect of terrorist activity).
The translation of the Info-graphic is as follows:
“Jihadist radicalization
the first signs that can alert
the following behaviors can be signs that a radicalization process is runningthe more they are,
the more they should alert the family and entourage”
“They are suspicious of old friends that they now regard as unclean”
“They reject their family members”
“They abruptly change their eating habits”
“They drop out of school or vocational training
because the education provided is part of the plot”
“They stop listening to music
because it diverted them from their mission”
“They do not watch television and no longer go to the cinema
because we see images that are prohibited”
“They stop sports because they are mixed”
“They change their attire”
“they attend assiduously sites and social networks
a radical or extremist character”
“but they withdraw into themselves, take antisocial props, reject any form of AUTHORITY or community life”
This is an insult to the French people. If they really cared about the public safety, the government would be encouraging people to defend themselves by arming themselves. They would not encourage people to snitch on their neighbor and report “radical behavior” that now apparently includes going on a diet, not watching movies or listening to music, and not exercising as much.
Are their real terrorists? Yes. Do you have a better chance of drowning in your bathtub than being killed by a terrorist? Yes. Is there a ‘War on Bathtub Drownings’? No. This is all being done to push a giant snitch culture where you only trust the government and you are always suspicious of your friends, family, neighbors and anyone around.
Let us not forget, historically, governments have been the biggest killer, not terrorist groups. They also have the most to gain from terrorist attacks.
