Question of the day: Will you support President Obama and the Congress in repealing the Bill of Rights to keep us safe from ‘The Terrorists’? If you answered yes, please escort yourself to the corner of the room and think about what you’ve just done.
Author and political activist Mark Dice makes headlines with another ‘Man on the Street’ video, asking the general public if we should support the President in repealing not just one, but the entire Bill of Rights.
In the video, Mark implies that President Obama is seriously considering the repeal of the Bill of Rights (also know as our basic freedoms) to keep us safe from ISIS (Terrorist Group) and he asks random people who are in the area if they think that is a good idea as well as if we should support the repeal. “I’m not sure, I haven’t studied it enough to make an honest, uhhh, educated comment about it.” states an older man. “Yea I would agree with that, yea.” responds another middle aged man, supporting the repeal. “Ohh shoot, my husband would be the one to ask this question. I don’t follow it close enough to know really.” answers an oblivious soccer mom. Those are just a few of the outlandish, eye-opening comments made by the average Californian in the video.
Will giving up our freedoms help combat terrorism? No. Does the endless perpetual ‘War on Terror’ make us safer? No. Will giving up our guns stop mass shootings at schools? No. Does having an eighteen trillion dollar national debt (public debt) help the economy? No. Even if launching unconstitutional wars in country’s that did not attack us did make us safe, it doesn’t change the fact we are completely bankrupt and are loosing more freedom each and everyday.
More people die from drowning in their own bathtub then they do from terrorism.
I’m not sure what is worse; supporting the repeal of the Bill of Rights or just simply not having a clue what the Bill of Rights consist of. To ensure that we may continue to have a free-market economy and natural rights, I would strongly recommend brushing up on them. This video should alarm you if you care at all about your future. Please, don’t just write this off because it’s depressing, and decide to focus on Super Bowl Sunday, which has absolutely no affect on your life and is meant to distract you from very real issues that do affect you.
