How many more actors and actresses, starring in shoot ‘em up action flicks, do we have to hear condemning private gun ownership in America? Liam Neeson proves there is at least one more.

In an interview with Gulf News, while promoting his gun and violence filled film “Taken 3”, Neeson expressed his sorrow for the victims of the shooting that took place in Paris recently. “there’s too many [expletive] guns out there. Especially in America. I think the population is like, 320 million? There’s over 300 million guns. Privately owned, in America. I think it’s a [expletive] disgrace.” Neeson complained.

Thank you for your consideration for the average citizen and those unarmed citizens who were helpless against criminal terrorists in Paris, Mr. Neeson. Normal people that don’t have the luxury of private security everywhere they go, because they don’t have a seven-figure salary, need to be armed to protect themselves and their families. Regardless of the fact that we have an unalienable right as human beings to defend ourselves, the last person who should be trying to discount gun ownership is the star of the Taken series. Seventeen people were killed in Paris because gun ownership is illegal, Mr. Neeson. That is far less than the amount killed with guns by the character Liam Neeson played and continues to play, promoting murder and senseless violence with guns, in the movie series. As far as the shooting goes, gun control was again proven to be a nuisance, even encouraging criminals to seek out weapons and commit crimes knowing there would be almost no retaliation.

But Neeson condones his role saying “A character like Bryan Mills going out with guns and taking revenge: it’s fantasy. It’s in the movies, you know?” he explained. “I think it can give people a great release from stresses in life and all the rest of it, you know what I mean? It doesn’t mean they’re all going to go out and go, ‘Yeah, let’s get a gun!”

If you’re trying to pull a fast one on the American people and citizens of nations around the world by promoting disarmament of the people and the elimination of our 2nd Amendment here in the US, while making millions shooting people on the big screen, I have two words for you, good luck.
