Senator Rand Paul has introduced the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2015. This bill would require a full audit of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Federal reserve banks. The bill, S. 264 has 30 cosponsors and would be a devastating blow to the Establishment if passed. But will we get the answers we want and need? “An audit of the Board of Governors of the Federal reserve System and the Federal reserve banks under subsection (b) of such section 714 shall be completed within 12 months of the date of the enactment of this Act” the bill states. Considering that the audit may exclude the above, Congress may not get the information they’re looking for.
Regardless, this bill is definitely a sign that more Americans want to know what exactly the Fed is up to, since it is now becoming well known that the Federal Reserve is a quasi-government agency (aka appearing to be) and devaluing our dollar at a rapid pace.
Ron Paul, Rand Paul’s father, wrote a book called ‘End the Fed’, which advocates the abolishment of the Federal Reserve. He goes over the conversations he had with both Alan Greenspan and Ben Bernake, both former Chairman’s of the Federal Reserve, basically showing us that no matter what questions Congress asks of the Federal Reserve leadership, they have not legal obligation to answer honestly, or at all! Paul states that the Federal Reserve is above the law and does not have to answer to Congress. The only solution is for Congress to abolish the Fed completely in order to regain control of our country’s currency.
