Differences Between

A Christian Republic & A Humanist Democracy

-This is what anti-Christ humanists are afraid for you to learn –

A Christian Republic

A Republican form of government is supposed to be such as to vest political power in the individual citizens of a country.  Voting is the process whereby each individual exercises his power to delegate authority to specifically chosen representatives to act for the individual under law. One of the favorite expressions of certain founders of the United States government, specifically those who were called anti- federalists, was the statement, “There will be no taxation without representation.“

The American Republic is therefore representative and those elected representatives exercise power in assembly.   A greater amount of individuals may be involved in this form of government and a greater area of a country can be represented. The United States of America was originally founded as a Christian Republic.

This governmental order is based upon sound principles of written law, which is subject to amendment, and is administered by men elected for a limited time during “good behavior”. These are under the law, not above it.  These elected officials are held in check by written laws such as the Constitution, Bill of Rights, Courts of Law, and others. Impeachment is our alternative for violating local, state or federal laws by elected officials.

THE UNITED STATES FOUNDING FATHER JOHN HANCOCK’S

THE ORIGINAL CALL TO THE AMERICAN COLONIES TO HUMILIATION & REPENTANCE

– The Original Establishment of Our Annual National Day of Prayer & Fasting –

In Provincial Congress Concord, April IS, 177S

Whereas it has pleaded the righteous Sovereign of the Universe, in just Indignation against the Sins of a People long blessed with inestimable Privileges, civil and religious, to suffer the Plots of wicked Men on both sides of the Atlantic, who for many Years have incessantly labored to sap the Foundation of our public Liberties, so far succeed; that we see the New England Colonies reduced to the ungrateful alternative of a tame Submission to a State of absolute Vassalage to the riff of a despotic Minister—or of preparing themselves speedily to defend, at the Hazard of Life, the unalienable Rights of themselves Posterity against the avowed Hostilities of their Parent State, who openly threatens to Wrest them from their Hands by Fire and Sword,

In Circumstances dark as these, it becomes us, as Men and Christians, to reflect that, whilst e very prudent Measure should be taken to ward off the impending judgments, or prepare to act a proper Part under them when they come; at the same Time, all confidence must be withheld from the Means we tree; and reposed only on that God who rules in the Armies of Heaven, and without whose blessing the best human Counsels are but foolishness—and all created Power and Vanity;

It is the Happiness of His Church that, when the Powers of Earth and Hell combine against it, and those who should be Nurturing Fathers become its persecutors—then the Throne of Grace is of the easiest Access—and its Appeal thither is graciously invited by the Father of Mercies, who has assured it that when His Children ask Bread he will not give them a Stone:

Therefore, in Compliance with the laudable practice of the People of God in all Ages, with humble Regard to the Steps of Divine Providence toward this oppressed, threatened

and endangered People, arid especially in Obedience to the Command of Heaven, that binds as to call on him in roe Day of Trouble, —

Resolved, That it be, and hereby is recommended to the good People in this Colony, of all Denominations, That Thursday, lath day of May, next be set apart as a Day of Public humiliation, Fasting and Prayer; that a total abstinence from servile Labor and Recreation be observed, and all their religious Assemblies solemnly convened, to humble themselves before God under heavy Judgments felt and feared, to confess the Sins that have deserved them, to implore the forgiveness of all our Transgressions, and a Spirit of Repentance and Reformation—and a Blessing on the Husbandry, Manufacturers and other lawful Employments of this People; and especially that the Union of the American Colonies in the Defense of their Rights for whiclt hitherto we desire to thank Almighty God) may be preserved and confirmed,—Provincial and especially the Continental CONGRESSES, may be directed fo such Measures ac God riff countenance.—That the Peapfe of Great Britain, and their Refers, may love their Eyes opened to discern the Things that shall make for the Peace of the Nation arid all its connections—arid that America ixaJ soon behold a gracious liiterposition of Heaven, for the Redress of her  Grievances , the Restoration of her invaded Liberties, and their security to the latest Generations.
