Parking ticket traps, speeding traps, and many other government revenue generating traps are such a racket. In the video below, this citizen journalist points out that most people have no idea that there is no parking Friday 12pm-4pm for “street sweeping” because no one can see the damn sign. Luckily, a resident took matters into their own hands and did what the government couldn’t do: clearly mark the no parking area. It’s not about keeping the roads clean, it’s about making money to continue funding the racket.
