Marcus goes on to explain the language being used by California State elected representatives and suggests California already thinks of itself as a sovereign nation.

On average, every year for the last 30 years the federal government has taken $300 Billion from California in federal tax receipts, while only returning $200 Billion. The federal government is keeping $100 Billion or the equivalent of one year’s state budget as public services and infrastructure decline at a record pace. Only 5 percent of California’s are aware of these facts. Sovereign California is traveling the state to educate the populous and demand real political change in the best interest for the people of California.

The rest of America hates California and wants it kicked out of the union according to national polls. The federal bureaucracy does not serve Californians best interest and is actually abusing the people of this state. The federal government is not securing our border and it refuses to implement rational immigration reform. California is already acting like a sovereign nation it is time to officially recognize it as such.
