In a world that is becoming a police state literally overnight, there are evil things being done around the clock and one of the Governments most evil tools against its people has been fully exposed by the hacking company called “Hacking Team”. What is Hacking Team? Plain and simple, Hacking Team is a company based out of Italy that sells remote control software to the governments of the world along with groups that are at war with the people of their country. Now in and of itself, remote control software doesn’t sound too bad. We have had remote control software since the start of the PC era, but this type of remote control is fully unauthorized and fully evil. This remote control software known as Galileo controls every aspect of IPhones, Microsoft Phones, Android OS, Windows, Apples Desktop IOS, and Linux. When I say every aspect, I truly mean every aspect. It is fully hidden, and can do things such as turning your phone into a bug by enabling the microphone and secretly recording anything that is going on, it can snap pictures silently and upload them immediately, it can track you using your gps, it can send out a text message as you silently, it can control everything from your contacts to your banking info and worse of all it can turn your webcam into a streaming video stream that goes back to one of the main servers that they setup when you buy their software. There are even rumors that inside this software is the ability to 1 button click and fill your devices with child porn in an attempt to frame you for such a crime. Personally, I haven’t been able to find that feature, but since everything is in Italian, deciphering this is slow going work.
How does one end up with such a program controlling your phone as well? Inside of the package that Hacking Team sells for no less than $250,000 per year, there is a full exploit kit that essentially is a server system that is meant to break into your phone using some of their 0 day code exploits. (And they were in possession of several unknown to the industry vulnerable exploits, some of which have now been patched). So either by injecting some code into an ad system or simply performing what is known as a man in the middle attack (as simple as getting on the same wifi that you’re on and making your device think the router is their device that’s just feeding you whatever it wants), any of these government facilities can target and attack whomever they want. What’s worse is that in trying to get a target, you will often end up with a ton of other people’s devices that were simply hanging around and got caught up in the exploit.
So if you’re saying this all sounds scary and a bit over the top, rest assured it is more than scary and beyond over the top. I dabble in security research and oftentimes have to put together a system simply to understand it, and so I have seen firsthand how truly intense these things are. Now this next video is from what hackers will call a RAT. It’s essentially the same thing that Hacking Team sells for $250k to the sucker governments that buy them when you can get something that works just as effectively for $100 bucks at your nearest hacking forum.
Now a caution to the end user, this is pretty risque to my standards and I wouldn’t let my kids watch it simply because it’s a bit to risque, but compared to what you see on TV these days, I suppose its rated G. But what you are about to see is exactly what someone sees when you get hacked. Your webcams, your mics, your entire lives become a part of the system. This video was a simple RAT and the people you are seeing are known as “slaves”. Why slaves? Simply put, once your computer has been exploited and you are packing a rat, unless you know how to get rid of it, you are at the mercy of whoever it is that wants to dominate you. After watching this, I hope you get a new idea of how evil this software is that our governments are buying and using against us.

Now that you have seen what basic off the shelf software can do, imagine what people that have licenses to hack and who work 18 hour days coding and hacking can do. Everything you do on your device, from paypal to online banking, to amazon to your online pension accounts. If you have gone to it on a computer that is hacked, there is a good chance you have left cookies behind that can be used to login from another device, or why not just use your own computer and relogin and move a little bit of money and be long gone before you discover it? Better yet the biggest fads of this year and for sure last year were computer lockers. Programs that will take a picture of you and put some child porn pictures all over and demand $500 to $10000 just to get back into your computer.
It’s going to take years to get to the bottom of all the evil that Hacking Team and the governments of the world were into but here is something that goes so far over the top, it’s unreal. The picture below is that of an email thread in which They even talk about ordering a hit on Christopher Soghoian, the ACLU’s Principal Technologist and an outspoken advocate for privacy and free speech.

I’m very tempted to respond, but we would only unleash hell. I think it’s self evident what an imbecile Soghoian is. If I gather up enough Bitcoin I will use a service from the DarkNet and eliminate him. An asshole of this caliber doesn’t deserve to continue to consume oxygen.
In this email exchange, be it a joke or not, these guys have proven themselves to not only be straight up evil and untouchable in terms of what they can do without going to jail, but they are also showing a very dark criminal side of themselves that one might think a country that says “One Nation Under God” would want to steer clear of. But at a cost of nearly 1 Million dollars of tax payers money, there are quite a few departments that use this software on US citizens.
